Garden of the Gods

Last week my sisters were home from college/ grad school for spring break! My little brother is also home from his YWAM dts so it was the first time all of the family was together since May! We had a lot of fun hanging out like every night & both weekends. I was pretty bummed that i was working all week (#grownups) but we were able to get in a lot of quality time none the less! The weather was beautiful and we were able to hike around the Garden of the Gods for a good while – have you even been there? You should go! I live 5 minutes away from the parks so Bruce & I love walking around/ driving by them all the time. Bruce & my parents were not able to join us in this adventure (they joined us in the rest, don’t worry!) but it was fun to spend time with Becca’s man (hello Matt!) and the rest of the sibling gang.

Also, just for learning sake, here are the details on the age order (most people get it confused):

ME: oldest and loudest at age 25 (almost 26)

BRUCE: my husband (not pictured here) married into the fam (obvi) and 25 (i’m older still).

BECCA: second oldest in the Ridings line, she is also 23

MATT: becca’s boyfriend. he is an MK from Kenya and comes in at 22 years of age.

SARAH: the only introvert in the family & the artist 20 years of age (turning 21 on Easter Sunday!!)

CHRIS: the baby and the only boy #spoiled! at age 18 (almost 19)

HAVE YOU EVER VISITED HERE?WHAT LOCAL ADVENTURES DO YOU LOVE GOING ON?

Fun! I've only been to Colorado once, a few years ago. We went in the winter and skiied. Let's just say…skiing just isn't my thing. You have such a pretty family!

I loved learning more about you and your siblings! I knew you had sisters and a brother, but keep forgetting the birth order. 🙂 Anyway, the Garden of the Gods sounds and looks like a beautiful place and I also love those mugs–even if I'm not a CO native! 🙂

this post made me feel all warm and fuzzy 🙂 your family is spread like my own, Im the oldest with a younger sis and even younger brother! Where did your brother do his DTS? I used to staff DTS for 5 yrs in Mt… I love when I meet others who have experienced it too.

Okay soooo I only have about a month left here! We've done Red Rocks, I'm doing the Coors Light Tour, I'm adding this to the list — what else do you suggest I check out before we leave?!
