Let’s have a virtual coffee date why don’t we?
Where are you seated? I am seated where ever there is a seat! #amiright?! It might just be all the coffee shops in Old Colorado City but I always just look around for the open seat. preferably in a place i can watch most of the other coffee dwellers because, i’ll be honest with you, we most likely talk about the people around us and imagine the lives they have. “married 10 years” “friends from high school” “first date” “big sister, little sister date” – right!??! anyone else imagine the lives of the people around you?!
What are you sipping/munching on? I never get food at coffee shops – just not my thing. i don’t really like bagels, donuts, or sweet breakfast treats. i may have slipped a box of raises or clementines in my purse though! and depending on the time of day i am drinking a Americano (before noon) or a soy chai / iced green tea (after noon) – i am old now, i cannot handle the caffeine! PS: i don’t like sweet drinks. i like my coffee black and my beer dark.
What do you want to get off your chest first (can be as deep as you want)? i just want to catch up! tell me how you have been, how you are (your kids, husband, job, school, ect.)! because so much of what we feel is based off the world around us! i’ll tell you that i am SO READY FOR VACATION and I AM SO EXCITED THE BRONCOS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL! seriously. i need a trip with my husband. and i would’t mind a Colorado win! last time we were in the Superbowl i was in 5th grade. 5th grade people. also, those Sea-Hawks need to be beaten! #amiright?!?
If you could choose anyone (besides us of course) who would you have a coffee with? real life wise – i would have coffee with my best friend Tori – she lives so far away and i miss her dearly. we have not seen each other since my wedding and that is pretty lame! history wise – i would also love to have coffee with Walt Disney! it would be so encouraging/ exciting to dream and talk with a man like that! if blogs existed back in the day i am pretty sure he would write my favorite blog of all time! celebrity wise – i am pretty sure J.Law and i could be real friends. she is funny, witty, cute, and adorable. and i would love to talk Hollywood with her – and also just life! i am sure it is crazy hard to keep a balanced life in that world!
What is inspiring you lately? if i tell you, promise not to laugh at me? i have recently dreaming big dreams of actually writing a book – an ebook, real book, any book! it is crazy intimidating for me but i think i can do it! so…. we’ll see!
What are your plans after coffee? go to the grocery store? go home to make dinner? bible study? i’ll probably have to rush off somewhere because i stayed so long talking to you but i enjoyed the time and i’ll text you later so we can set up another one! xoxo

such a fun idea- coffee dates are wonderful and coffee dates with bloggers, well, i imagine they are the very best kind 🙂 i'm definitely going to get involved with one of these!
When my husband and I were first dating we would go down by the airport and imagine stories about the planes we saw taking off… where they were going, who was on them, what they were doing, etc.
Also…Sherman. Ugh. I just…. can't.
I totally agree having coffee with Walt Disney would be amazing!

+ literally did a double take when i read "i don't really like bagels" (!!!!) what?!?!?! its ok – i mean i can still be your friend 😉 i love a good ol' bagel!
+ totally love how you broke out the "wish date" into three sections! walt disney + jlaw is where it is at! great choices!
+ WRITE THE BOOK! i would totally read it – i've thought of the same thing before too (and opening some kind of shop! ha)
+ also love the pictures of the coffee shop + that they used GLASSES…that was brilliant!
what a sweet post. PS I wish I liked Americanos. much cheaper than my starbucks drink of choice;)
its good to have big dreams 🙂 and isn't it the best when you get those fluffy hearts in your coffee 🙂
Oh, you should write the book! And Walt Disney…Yes!
I loved reading that! Get all over that book business! You can do it! Also, if you're having a coffee date with Walt, Tyler and I will be right over and if you're having a coffee date with JLaw I'll be right over! 🙂
Um, first of all, thank you for those sweet words. They made me smileeeee. 🙂 And thank you for linking up and joining in for the coffee date! The more the merrier and like you said, we MUST have a real one someday!
Also, a coffee date with Jennifer Lawrence? That would be so. much. fun. Although I'm pretty sure I couldn't eat/drink anything for fear of having it all come out of my mouth as she says something hilarious. 🙂
And writing a book or an e-book?!!?!?!?! So excited to hear more about that! That is so exciting!
p.s. Talking about people and thinking of their life stories is my favoritest thing ever. People watching is entertaining, right?
Oh my goodness. I wandered over to your blog from Kiki's link-up, and it's GORGEOUS!
Anyway, coffee with Jennifer Lawrence would be so awesome. I'm totally face-palming myself for not thinking of her when I answered that question (not that I don't love my sister and cousins). Ha!
