Ugly Shmugly

Tonight was our annual Ugly Sweater Christmas party with our small group. And by annual, I mean first time ever. But there always has to be a 1st to be a 2nd!

Bruce and I showed up the door looking like this (see picture above!) Except for imagine me holding my purse and two plates of cookies – one plate of my Christmas creations and the other plate with Bruce’s home-made favorites. And imagine him holding both of our white elephant gifts and the gifts we bought for children who otherwise wouldn’t get presents on Christmas (our small group opted for that in leu of a secret Santa exchange.)

Good thing we showed up at the right place or we may have startled an unexpected family with our presence! As always, I’m loving Christmas and loving being the “fun couple!” How can you go wrong with a nickname like that?!!?
