Bruce and I keep looking at each other trying to figure out what we’ve done. Just months ago we were planning on staying in our town home and living our normal life. In the blink of an eye we put an offer in on a house that was 100% a fixer upper. While we are obviously fans of Chip & Jo, we never thought we would take on a project as large as a fixer upper especially during my busy season for work, the holidays, and my third trimester! Yet here we are.
This process has been such a whirlwind that I have barly documented it! My saved Instagram story holds most of the transformation. Snapping some photos and videos on my phone takes up way less mental space than finding my camera (guys, packing up to move is the worst) and finding time to upload them/ edit them. I was talking about this with my friend Ashlee and she convinced me that we do need a little something to remember this middle season by! So she came over the next day and took these photos for us! I didn’t even have to find my camera or edit one picture (this is why it is so great to work with a photographer for life moments!)
Ready or not, here we come! We move in on Friday!!! (AHHHH) It won’t be 100% done when we move in but it will be close! We’ll have an ongoing list of projects but isn’t that just home ownership?! lol. We have to get our current home ready for new renters which is also super exciting. Yesterday Bruce told me that we only have 4 more sleeps in this home before we sleep in our new house – It has me in an emotional/ stressed / pregnant state of being. Life is crazy right now but I have no doubt that the Lord is capable and He is my strength! He has so clearly put us on this path and He will continue to provide!
