When Amy came to Colorado she had dreams of a photo shoot in the mountains with girls in dresses. So we tried to make those dreams come true! I let her do my make up and I danced around in a field as the sun set behind the mountains. It was a blast. This is one of the things I love most about meeting and working with other creatives. I would never do this on my own – never jump out of the box this far without a dream and a vision of someone else.

We truly work together as a team. And the more we see each other as colleges and not competitors, the more we can bring reality to vision and art to the world. Amy took all these pictures and I love them. She even made me use my “serious” face which was totally out of my comfort zone but stretched me in good ways. Working with other photographers and seeing how they capture the moment through their lens is truly an experience because we all have different angles we bring to the table.

Try something new. Meet up with a friend or message someone in your field to ask if they would be up for a collaboration. You never know where these friendships will take you. Dream big.
