Mother’s Day and my birthday have merged into one big holiday for me. Every 6 years (or so) they share the same day and the rest of the years they hover near by. Growing up I always thought it would be LAME to have to share the holiday – I imagined half the gifts and less celebration which was a heartbreaking thought to 8-year-old Beth. But now as a mama and an, ehem, middle aged lady, I love it. Mother’s Day means my birthday and my birthday means Mother’s Day… and I get showered with all kinds of love all month long (really year round too!)

The question now becomes – is this a Birthday Wish List? Or is it a Mother’s Day gift guide? You decide ๐Ÿ˜‰ I will say, I already own half of these items and I would like to own the rest of them. So yes. Both. All of the above. Sign me up!

This gift guide is filled with brands, artists, and small businesses that I really do love. I don’t link all these things to make money – not all of them are “affiliate” links – but to share things I really think the mom in your life would love for Mother’s Day or her birthday if it just so happens to fall the same way as mine!

PS: Use code “OAKOATSLIFESTYLEBLOGGERPHOTOGRAPHER” to get 10% off at Be A Heart. It is an affiliate link but also a discount! I’m not Catholic, but I do love all the liturgical elements they create and offer for the Church calendar!
