Mini Christmas Tree

Hilde is excited as ever about one of her early Christmas gifts. Both last year and this year (on several ocassions already) I have given Hilde her gifts early. I texted a friend and said that as my girls get older, I am going to really have to get my act together with this crazy talk! Like any normal kid/ human, they will want to open gifts ON Christmas day and I can’t spend all our money buying more gifts because I am too impatient to wait in the first place! But I have still have some time to work on that little quirk of mine! HAHA!

The most important news about this post is that Hilde is driving around her own little mini tree and she thinks it is a hoot. Way before we even had kids, I knew I was going to have to tie a mini tree to a Little Tikes car one day. And yes, I am already planning on getting both girls to pile in next year for a photo!

We grabbed this car at buybuy BABY and it moved in its box to our new house. The other night, we felt motivated to put it together and show it to Hilde. Since then it is the only toy she wants to play with! It worked super nicely indoors when our dinning room table still hadn’t arrived, but now it’s here (and soooo beautiful) and blocking her path. Once we move some packing boxes, it should be prime season but I don’t know how much we should let this be an indoor toy or just keep it outside! All three of us cannot get over how nice these new floors are and how easy it is to roll toys on them!
