Thank you Boulder Canyon for sponsoring this post in collaboration with Blog Meets Brand!
Today I am full term at 37 weeks pregnant. I went to the doctor and although I am full term, they don’t expect baby to be coming anytime soon (so don’t get your hopes up!) I currently am displaying no labor signs… just being uncomfortable because there is a full term baby hanging out with me at all times 😉 Honestly, this is great news because that 3rd trimester list? I am clearly still working on it! Look at that current state of our nursery…
My sisters were in town this weekend for my baby shower and we made sure to get some good Colorado time in! I still try to get out as much as I can (when it is not too terribly hot) to stay active and fit. I have been trying to stay at the lower end of my recommended pregnancy weight gain for my body type & size. I’ve been doing that by being aware of what I’m eating and also being active everyday. I know a walk through the Garden of the Gods is not only good for me, but also my baby – and my marriage! We love walking/hiking together. It is also just want we do for fun here in Colorado and I can only watch so much Netflix before I go crazy. I’ve also tried to make a point of having better-for-you snacks around the house. They get extra points if they are local too! (I’ve talked about several other Colorado brands I am obsessed with here on this blog!) Boulder Canyon chips are a family and friends favorite – cooked in unique cooking oils with clean labels, and that magical hearty crunch. No one likes a flimsy potato chip!
I’ve got to stay fueled while I get things done or both mama and baby get hangry (she is just like me in so many ways already 😉 ) All you mama’s out there – was your first early or late? Am I working with borrowed time right now?! I still haven’t ironed out my maternity leave or packed my hospital bag… I should get on that right? Also adding Boulder Canyon chips to our hospital bag because they told us to bring all the snacks! haha.
So excited for you! And yes, walking is great for staying in shape and for marriages, hehe. Those chips look delicious!
I’m loving all of your pregnancy updates and am so excited for the little one to arrive. I totally know what you mean about trying to stay on the lower side of how much weight we gain while pregnant. I continued to walk throughout my entire pregnancy, walking almost three hours a day. We even walked back from our hospital checkup, which was about a 2 hour walk home while at the very end of my pregnancy. I’m so glad you’re enjoying this time though. I’ve never heard of those chips!!
Love hearing your pregnancy updates! Congrats on making it to 37 weeks! Also, love those chips 🙂
It’s so surreal that you’re there already! I just hit 30 weeks and I’m feeling like his arrival is so imminent…it’s slightly terrifying but also so exciting!
I wish we could get out more during the day and hike and explore, but the humidity right now is just stifling. I’ll be glad when it cools down a bit!
Ahh, I hope you are feeling well! So happy for you.

I still can’t believe she’s almost here! I’m so excited for you! I’ve heard staying active during pregnancy is so good for both you and baby.
I can’t believe she’s almost here! Are you nervous at all or just excited?!
You’re so close!! And such an inspiration. Healthy and active are my goals if I ever have kids, though I’m sure it isn’t easy!
