April Showers

LOCATION: Garden of the Gods Overlook

OUTFIT DETAILS:  1969 True Skinny Ankle Jeans || Marled Chunky Crewneck Sweater || Puffy Vest (Similar) || Chaco Boots

On April 1st we woke up to snow. The heavy, wet, spring snow! I love spring snows because they make the best snowballs. They also melt like an ice cream cone in July. The day after these pictures all evidence of snow was gone and we were walking around in t-shirts – that’s Colorado for you! I really think that is what makes spring snows so magical. Everyone gets all scared that winter will never end as the flakes are falling but then it is all melted before you know it and you kind of miss it. It felt good to get another winter outfit in before it goes to the back of the closet.

In other news, Moana & Fantastic Beasts both came in this last week so I’ve been getting some movie watching in. We snuck in a double date with Meg & her man (always good!) And Bruce and I spent a lot of time talking about our future and dreams and plans. That’s always exciting. And with all that, the weekend is over and a new week has begun. Let’s not wish it away living for the weekend, but look for the little moments to hold onto. These days (and this snow) don’t last forever. Make the most of them.

Cutest photos! The snow is so beautiful! I love how it sits on the green fern looking plant to your left. It’s so pretty and this is coming from a girl who has never seen snow. Jealous!

Thankfully we, in Southern Canada, are done with snow. It’s been super sunny and warm here. If I saw snow on April 1 I don’t think I’d look as happy as you are haha. cute photos! Love how you captured the snow
