Manitou Cactus

Spring Style - Manitou Cactus

LOCATION: Manitou Cactus

OUTFIT DETAILS:  Oh, Sweet Joy Wanderer Dress || Denim Vest || Chaco Sophia Sandals || Luv It Lipsense || Natalie Borton Necklace

Spring is in the air and I don’t mind. I go through a slight emotional roller-coaster every time the seasons change – missing what has been but excited about what will be. I’m dramatic like that. It is spring break so my brother brought a car full of college kids home with him. I have been wanting to go back to Manitou Cactus to stock up on (more) succulents for Shop Oak + Oats (now that I have an endless supply of planters, I am decorating every room of our house with them!!) so then when those college kids wanted to go exploring, I told them I’d meet them in Manitou!

We walked around the town (which is so fun btw) and chatted as we went. When we walked into the Cactus shop,  instantly started picking out my favorites. I said I would only leave with four so it wasn’t the easiest narrowing it down! haha!  My little sister Sarah came with us and took these photos for me! She is coming in very handy when Bruce can’t take pictures of me because he is working 😉 Sarah is an artist and we are helping her set up a site so that she can do the freelance/ work from home thing too. Plus I’ll be able to make her collaborate with me all the time! It will be the best!

I’m loving this long dress I picked up on a whim from Oh, Sweet Joy! I’ve been so hesitant of long dresses due to my short nature (5’2″) but this one isn’t terribly long and it is also so very comfortable! It is also one of my fav ever colors so that helps!

Oh what an adorable shop! I wish we had a place like that near where I live. Also, that dress is too pretty! I love the color and the length. I am rather short too so trying to find clothes that don’t overwhelm my frame can be difficult.
