Just like that Galentine’s is back! Ladies celebrating ladies. We had so much fun gathering for brunch last year, that Meg & I decided to do it again. We cheated a bit and met up over the weekend to celebrate so that we didn’t have to plan around work schedules and lunch hours! I had plans of making our brunch perfect and pinteresty but it just didn’t happen. Life has been so busy and I’m learning not everything needs to be perfect all the time (it’s a never ending lesson.)
Honestly, the best part about celebrating Galentine’s is just hanging out with all your girls! This year two baby girls joined us and they made their way around the crowded table being extra loved on. We talked about new boyfriends, new babies, and new adventures. We shared stories and laughed and asked questions – some serious and some silly. We drank and we ate and we thanked Leslie Knope for giving us an excuse to spend a Saturday morning together (but really, when do we need the excuse?!)
Good news though, I brought my camera and my instax so we all walked away with a lot of photos and some filled up friendship tanks. When I got home and told Bruce all about it, he started planning a man night – he thought they should get a holiday too so they declared the 15th Manintine’s Day and are celebrating by seeing John Wick Chapter Two. Classic 😉
This is so cute! I want to go to your Galentines Day! You and Meg are so the cutest!
I want you to come too!
I love our simple Galentine’s days! Just making time for friends is my favorite thing. 🙂
YAY! I love it too friend!
I don’t think you cheated at all! The point of these days is to have an extra excuse to intentionally celebrate the people in our lives – and you did just that. 🙂
