Night out in the City

When in Denver on a getaway, you must have a date night out in the city! Or in our case, a date-night-in in the city! We joked with our family and friends when we got home that when you stay in a luxury hotel, you stay in the hotel because everything there is already so fun & luxurious! We has dinner reservations at FIRE, which is the restaurant in the hotel, so we didn’t need to leave (or find parking) for dinner, we simply dressed up and rode the elevator down to the fourth floor! We spent some time on the balcony, gazing at the people below and wishing it was summertime so that we could eat outside. We ended up at a table in the corner of the room with floor to ceiling windows looking out on the streets below – it was almost the same but warmer 😉

I brought my new Gap dress along because it it pretty much the most comfortable dress I own these days and has the longer sleeves that make it more winter weather appropriate! Also boots! I add them to all my winter outfits when I need to dress up a bit. They are perfect because they help you stay warm and also look super fashionable! Ain’t nobody got time for strappy heals in the winter (what if you run into an ice patch?!)

Can we also just take a moment to talk about all this lighting?!! Staying in a hotel with windows everywhere is A. a great idea and B. Simply magical! Plus the glow from that Colorado sun has me swooning.
