How was your holiday weekend? I always love a good three day weekend and I am always surprised by just how fast they fly by! We spent the majority of our weekend slaving away in the basement (and by “we” I mean Bruce) but don’t worry – we made every effort to still get some breaks in and partake in the holiday festivities. We grilled out, enjoyed the sunshine, had family over, and watched the fireworks. My four-year-old niece was completely enthralled by the firework display which was so fun for the rest of us too. Each time one went off she would shout “holy guacamole!” – I’m sure all the people around us also thought it was adorable!
