We recently discovered that the best ice cream comes from a five-star, five-diamond resort near our house called The Broadmoor. They have a beautiful property, open to the public with several eateries including a little ice cream shop. All the ice cream is made in house (YUM!) and you get this beautiful cone with huge scoops for only $4 – pretty good deal for everything you get!!

With the warm weather coming in, trips to satisfy our sweet tooth will be on the rise. Laura and I went to grab a treat for a quick study break (because she is graduating with her doctorate in May!!) and friend breaks are good for the soul. I also tricked her into a little photo shoot because she is a babe and so is her strawberry ice cream!
