I know I am not the only one whose body goes a little crazy with the time change. I lay in bed at night unable to fall asleep and I set a thousand alarms in the morning in hopes to get up. It takes me a good week or two to feel back to normal – with all that being said, Daylights Savings in not my cup of tea. However, I need it. The BLESSING of getting off work and having the sun still be out is magical. Can I get an amen from all the working peeps?!
Last week Bruce and I were driving home from a dinner date when we started seeing the sun set. We were chatting about how wonderful it was to have the sun still be out after dinner and we gazed at the neon sky in awe of the beauty of Colorado. I had may camera in the back seat, so we pulled over since my neon spring top fit in with the crazy sun rays disappearing behind Pike’s Peak. Bring on the spring, bring on the neon, and bring on the late night sunsets.

Also, I tried to curl my hair that day. Thoughts? I seriously have the straightest hair ever and also deep camp roots with a tendency to ponytail my hair and skip make-up. I feel like I am always at a loss with figuring out my hair and make-up! lol.
Have you pulled out the Spring colors in your wardrobe? How do you deal with the time changes? Have you looked into Twice & ThredUp for new to you clothes?
Love the longer days! It means we can go for walks after supper and just in general have a chill life!
Wow, these pictures are gorgeous! Andrew and I have been so happy that the time changed so we can spend more time outside for date nights. We have been meaning to go see the sunset at the beach or something. And I LOVE that top on you. It's one of my favorite colors to wear!
Just had to chime in because I'm also in the "straightest hair ever" club…and let me tell you, you have GOT to try a wand. It is about a thousand times easier than any other thing I've tried, and my hair will hold curls so much longer!! I bought one for less than $20 off amazon. Seriously – it's a game changer!
just. stop.
beth.
i am OBSESSED with these photos!
you have this as a backdrop all the time!! AHHH i would force you to pull the car over every 5 seconds because i would love the backdrop and the lighting!
All of these pictures are amazing, but the first one is especially stunning!! And I think your hair looks great. Keep curling.
Oh my goodness! These photos are GORGEOUS!
My husband and I have always dreamed about moving to Colorado for a long time now and are starting to apply to jobs out there! Your beautiful photos make me want to just up and move and figure out the rest later! 🙂
You are truly beautiful, my dear. A natural beauty that shines!
Beautiful! I can't wait for temps to warm up here in Washington!
It's been interesting to move somewhere where daylight savings time actually coincides with warmer weather. In Chicago we're still usually dealing with cold weather (it snowed on our wedding in April!). In the south though I have the benefit of warm weather and more daylight!
Your hair looks great. I have really thick hair and get tired about halfway through curling…so I barely ever do it!
That outfit is adorable, and I LOVE those jeans! I'm also LOVING the warmer weather…well, I was yesterday, anyway (looks outside sadly). I'm with you, having the sun up when you leave work is so lovely!
