School Supplies Season

I typically am never truly sad as summer comes to an end because my favorite season is just around the corner. Oh, I am giddy like Tom Hanks in You’ve got Mail “Don’t you love New York in the fall? It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address. On the other hand, this not knowing has its charms.” Sigh. Fall. School Supplies. Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan.

When I walk through the school supplies aisles I hear the sound of dial up internet and the email exchanges between Kathleen Kelly and Joe Fox. My hands instinctively grab the sharpies, high lighters, organizers off the shelf and they make themselves at home in my jars & baskets.

While walking through the aisles at Walgreens I found the best Sharpie Highlighters in the world I am sure. They are bright. Thick. AND have this clear thing that you can actually see what you are highlighting with (remember that instagram you all fell in love with?) Anyways, I figured I needed to get them for my blog organization because things that are in pretty colors are more likely to get accomplished!
