This are looking really festive around our office. I have shipped out more orders for heart planters from our shop than I honestly thought possible and it has been so fun. The January blues hit me hard this year and it was hard to find something to really lift my spirits. Heart planters in all colors have been shipping out from Colorado Springs and that has been a beautiful burst of color in the middle of winter.

In fact, I was surprised when the orders started coming in. So many heart planters… why?! And then I realized that February was right around the corner! I made a note in my calendar to better plan for the holiday next year but we still embraced it and ran with it! I can’t get over pink… if January is blue (or brown here in dry Colorado) than February is pink and I love pink. Totally ready for more pink in my IG feed anyways.

I laugh as I write this post. I’m not the business lady who has everything together (heck, I didn’t even see Valentine’s coming) and this post is a bit all over the place, but I hope you see that it’s okay to not be perfect. And it is okay to try new things and see how it goes.

One year and a couple months ago we opened our Shop Oak + Oats store just for the heck of it. Since then, we have grown, sold more planters then I could have imagined (we are on 311 sales right now!) and we’ve even started adding new products!

I just had to share these beautiful photos with you from Elah Tree (we love working with her!) and let you know a little bit about all the festivities going on over at the shop these days. If you are looking for a fun Valentine’s Day gift or decor, head over to the shop and check it out! Order by Feb 2nd to guarantee Valentine’s day delivery!

AND also, I don’t always mix this blog with the shop but I would love to know if you want more of it! Or if you have any questions about our shop or running a shop. Leave them below and I’ll add them to the Ask Elizabeth Series! I don’t want Oak + Oats and Shop Oak + Oats to always run sooo separately so I would love to hear ways you would enjoy them being mixed together!
