Black Skinnies & Coffee

LOCATION: The Broadmoor Hotel, Colorado Springs, CO
DETAILS: Brigitte Raglan Top (Similar) || High Rise Skinny Cords (Old, Similar)|| Urban GemClover Necklace (use code: OAKANDOATSXOXO for a free month to Rocksbox) || ONA Capri Camera Bag || Grey Canvas Sneakers

Each month Samantha of Elah Tree, Megs of Rivers & Roads, and me (Elizabeth of Oak + Oats!) join together to share three ways to style the same clothing item & your invited to be a part it! Our goal is to encourage, awaken, and celebrate the inherent beauty in each one of us as we live in community.

This April we are bringing it back to the classics – black skinny jeans! These are a huge staple in my wardrobe because they can be dressed up for work or down for play. I know I am not the only one who was able to get away with wearing jeans to the office because they were black and looked fancy! I know your April may look different all around the world, but paired with a tank or a over-sized sweater, black skinnies are year round!

Bruce and I snuck away last weekend for a coffee date and snapped these pictures. This outfit is perfect for weekend errands or a casual work day! The Stitch Fix top is a million times comfy and if you have never signed up for a Fix yet, you should do so now (and ask me all your questions in the comments!)

YOUR MISSION: For the month of April we are styling our black skinny jeans! Then YOU show us how YOU style your vest on your blog, facebook, instagram, or twitter! Make sure to use the hashtag #TryStyleCo so that we can see your wonderful creations. We will do fun shout outs on social media with our favorite looks!

!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); e.id = id; p = ‘//shopsensewidget.shopstyle.com/widget-script.js’; var cb = new Date().getTime(); p += ‘?cb=’ + cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === ‘object’){ if(doc.readyState === ‘complete’){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, ‘script’, ‘shopsensewidget-script’);

We can’t wait for you to come along with us! Join the TriStyle & Co. Community! Don’t forget to #TriStyleCo ! Have an idea of what we should style for next month? Tweet us using the hashtag #TriStyleCo and follow us on instagram too –@oakandoats @megmcilvaine @Elahtree
