When we were in Arkansas for my little sister’s wedding, we made sure to get some touristy things in there. I mean, we had family flying in from all over the states (and world) to attend this wedding and we didn’t want to sit around the hotel the whole time.
We went to this lovely mill in the middle of the Ozarks (they call them mountains, but lets be honest, mountains are not mountains if there are trees all the way at the top!) Mountain debate aside, they are still very lovely and filled with so much beauty. This place has been a mill for like over 100 years and is still functioning – I love history so this is like the best of both worlds.
I snapped some pictures of family while we were adventuring around and just enjoyed a rest from the wedding planning!
Looks so lovely! Where is war eagle mill? We reside in Arkansas but I've never heard of it! And I'm with you on the mountain thing, we lived in Utah for a bit- and I just can't call these mountains!

That's right! Gotta have the flag!
P.S. Mountains ARE mountains even if they have trees all the way at the top 😉
This looks like so much fun! I am in a travel mood lately and love reading posts about different places to go.
Um… It is like kinda by the camp War Eagle? Like Rodgers area? It is all in Northwest Arkansas!
Yeah! It was fun to travel around – weddings make you do that!
Sure. Sure.
BACKSIDE!
Bahahaha. I'm have a feeling this is our new joke. :/
Theses pictures make me miss the time with my Ridings family. I love it! Thanks for taking these, Beth 🙂
Family gatherings are so special. I can't wait to see my husband's extended family this Thanksgiving season!
