Spring in Our Home
Spring in our home. The windows have been open for the last week non-stop (well, except last night when we thought the house was going to blow over because the wind was so crazy. ) The birds are singing, the sun stays out through dinner, and I've been making ice tea. We've been watching baseball, planning trips, and eating meals on the porch. I've been on a Keane, Snow Patrol, Coldplay, The Fray, Lifehouse, 3 Doors Down, Goo Goo Dolls, All American Rejects kick - so yes, all my favorite ... continue reading...

Say Hello to Hello Fresh
You want the truth? Truth is I am in love with this whole world of subscription services like Hello Fresh. Especially those that send you a recipe along with ALL of the ingredients you'll need to make it happen. Guys, this is magic. I am the worst when it comes to grocery shopping & meal planning. I try - but I just can't stay motivated/ find the time. I'm kind of a hot mess when it comes to the kitchen ;) Oh, unless I'm making Ice Cream but that doesn't really count! Ode To Summer
The older I get, the more I appreciate each season yet the more I long for summer. When I was a kid I thought I would never grow up, and now that I am 27, I wonder where all those years went! That has inspired me to soak up each day, each season, and each year. But there is something about summer - something about it that makes me sad to see it go every year. ... continue reading...
Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl
Let me let you in on a little secret, I'm not into the whole chocolate / peanut butter combo (only exception: Puppy Chow.) I know it is weird but that is how I roll. I do however live with a man who loves the combo and a group of friends who think the richness of chocolate paired with the creaminess of peanut butter is to die for, so I took it upon myself to make them an ice cream they would fawn after. INGREDIENTS:1 Cup Milk 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream1/4 Cup Unsweetened Coco Powder2 ... continue reading...

Root Beer Floats (To-Go)
One thing that I love about summer is all the outdoor eating events! I go crazy with it - I try to sit on the patio at every restaurant we go to, bring our meals out to the back porch, and throw out the idea of cookouts and picnics as much as possible. We have a group of friends that gets together for dinner once a week during the summer to share a meal together. We all bring a little something and before you know it, we have a huge spread! Since I am on the ice cream roll this summer (if you ... continue reading...
Fresh Peach Sorbet
I am so thankful that the farmers markets are open again! Here in Colorado we only get them during the summer time and I love weaving it into my Saturday morning routine. I've been on an ice cream making kick (obviously) which has inspired me to do all sorts of things like buy Popsicle molds off Amazon in the middle of the night. This one is another dairy free one for you all. It is also a healthy one since it is mostly peaches (seriously - the added sugar is tiny.) The best part is that it ... continue reading...
