the Great Christmas Exchange Link-Up

i cannot believe the day to reveal all the great Great Christmas Exchange gifts is here! it feels like just yesterday that Samantha & i were dreaming up this adventure! we have had so much fun through this whole process and hope that you have too! don’t worry, we are already making plans for the Great Christmas Exchange 2014!!

WHAT I SENT:
Samantha and i were lucky enough to be a part of the exchange as well. we included ourselves in the lists and tried not to look at who had us (but i’ll be honest, i looked!). when i found out that i had drawn Ashley of Crazy Simple Love, i was so excited! i have been getting to know Ashley over the last couple months so when shopping for her gift i felt like i was shopping for a friend, not a stranger!

i sent here a wonderful calendar for a cause, a beautiful clutch from Elah Tree, some goodies from Thatch & Thistle! sending fun mail is always so exciting to me!!

WHAT I RECEIVED:
when my box arrived at the door, my husband picked it up and set it in my lap exclaiming “your blog friends must love you very much!” he loves the community that i have found blogging because he totally get’s it – he has met people through his video game world. it is also so fun because we have computer time together where i hear him talking to his friends, strategizing their next moves in BF4 and i sit with my laptop in my comfy chair answering emails and reading blogs – but i digress!
when i opened the gift i discovered that it was from Lauren of Cornwell Fam and her Christmas card was sitting nicely on top! inside were millions of packages individually wrapped! i was spoiled. fun straws, glitter clothespins, Starbucks coffee, candle, owl mug, Patronus journal, and Harry Potter ornament. this lady did her homework on me!!
